Podcast & Newsletter sponsorship
You, me and your brand? Let’s create some magic.
Let’s talk sponsorship:
The Ambition Tax is a publication for women building businesses on their own terms, quietly (or not so quietly - depending on their season ;-)), sustainably, and in defiance of hustle culture. It asks one question from every angle: is there always a cost to be paid for the price of ambition, and is there another way to build that doesn’t ask us to pay it; for ourselves, our clients, or the planet?
If your brand believes the same, that growth doesn’t have to mean grind, that less can be more, that business can be done with integrity toward people and planet, then we may be a good fit.
The Audience:
The Ambition Tax reaches women who are founders, entrepreneurs creatives, executives and independent thinkers; many of them building around real constraints: caregiving, health, neurodivergence, limited hours. They are intentional with their time, their money, and what they let into their lives. They don’t respond to hard sells, they respond to things that are genuinely useful, beautiful, and aligned with how they want to live and work.
This is an intimate, deliberately-grown community where engagement runs deep rather than wide, thoughtful replies, real conversations, and a level of trust that makes every recommendation land.
The numbers that matter:
Average open rate: 40-52%: consistently well above the typical newsletter benchmark (~20–35%), meaning your business will be genuinely seen, not ignored in an inbox.
Engaged, conversational readership: replies, comments, and real discussion, not passive scrolling.
Trajectory: an actively growing publication with rising visibility across Substack’s discovery engine.
What I write about:
Sustainable regenerative business practises: building something viable without burning out, scaling endlessly, or living online 24/7
Personal Branding: without the AI slop, influencer ick and fear of being seen.
The cost of ambition: the personal, financial, and environmental price of how we’re told and taught to work, and the alternatives.
The importance of financial independence for women: earning, pricing, and building a life and business on your own terms.
Ways to partner:
Every partnership is written in my own voice and woven naturally into the publication. Nothing reads as an intrusive ad, because nothing is. Anything featured is something I genuinely use, rate, or would recommend to a friend.
Footer feature: Your logo, a single line, and a link in the standing newsletter footer, across a month of issues. Quiet, recurring brand presence.
Dedicated hero sponsor feature: A few paragraphs introducing your brand in my voice, as a stand-out editorial section at the top of a newsletter. The premium placement.
Live interview shout-out: A genuine mention during the live Tuesday interview series. Available as an add-on or bundle.
Podcast feature: A proper mention in an episode, woven into the conversation rather than read off a script. For brands who want to reach listeners, not just readers.
Both Newsletter & Podcast feature: The dedicated hero feature and the podcast mention together, across both formats. For brands who want the full reach.
Not sure yet – open to suggestions: Tell me what you're hoping to achieve, and I'll help you find the format that fits.
Why partner with me:
Genuine trust: I only ever feature brands, tools, and makers I actually use, respect, or would recommend to a friend. My readers know this, which is exactly what makes a mention worth something.
Never an intrusive ad: Anything featured is written in my own voice and woven naturally into the publication. It will read like a recommendation from someone you trust, because that’s what it is.
Values-aligned by design: I turn down partnerships that don’t fit. That protects my readers, and it protects the credibility of the brands who do.
Brands I love to hear from:
